The frame is 1" diameter aluminum tubing, extruded and drawn for extra strength. This chair collapses to make it easy to carry to the beach. This chair is one of the only chairs on the market that sits 16" off the ground. The 16" height allows for easy in and out. Recommended for a heavy set person.
